1. Hosting & Server Logs
When you access this site, the hosting provider processes server log data (e.g., truncated IP address, date/time, URL, user agent, referrer). Purpose/Legal basis: technical provision, security, legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).Retention: logs are deleted regularly by the host.
2. Contact via Email
If you contact us by email, we process your data to handle the request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: until the request is completed or statutory retention applies.
3. Waitlist (MailerLite)
You can join our waitlist using your name and email address. We use MailerLite as our email/list provider (processor).
Purpose: to send waitlist/start updates and, where applicable, newsletters.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Sec. 7 UWG). Double opt-in is used.
Required data: email; name optional (for personalization).
Withdrawal: you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
Processing agreement: a Data Processing Agreement with MailerLite is in place.
Data transfers: MailerLite processes data within the EU/EEA. If, in exceptional cases, data is transferred to third countries, this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
4. Cookies
We currently use only technically necessary cookies where required by the CMS/hosting. No analytics, tracking or cookies.
5. Fonts (Google Fonts locally hosted)
For privacy compliance, Google Fonts are served locally from our server. No connection to Google’s servers is made when loading pages.
6. Recipients / Categories
Hosting provider (technical provision) is Strato AG, Germany.

7. Retention
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law. Waitlist data is kept until you withdraw consent or the purposes cease.
8. Your Rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
9. Provision of Data
Providing your email for the waitlist is voluntary, but required to receive updates.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data (e.g., HTTPS/TLS).
11. Changes
This policy will be updated once additional features (e.g., bookings/shop) are introduced.
For the legally binding version of this Privacy Policy, please refer to the German version (“Datenschutzerklärung”). In the event of any discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.
